3 Recipes to Nourish Uterine Fibroids

Uterine fibroids are an absolute killer! They are painful and wreak havoc on your life. There is a strong correlation between uterine fibroids and oestrogen dominance. If you have this condition, you must be reducing inflammatory foods such as red meat, alcohol, caffeine, high carbohydrate foods and anything in a packet.


Here's a great example of a healthy diet for women suffering from uterine fibroids




Breakfast:


Chia seed pudding with raw cacao & almond milk

· 3 Tbsp. of organic chia seeds

· 1 tsp. raw organic cacao powder

· ¾ cup of organic almond/coconut milk

· ½ cup of organic berries

· 1 cup of organic dandelion root coffee or green tea blend as a coffee substitute


* Soak overnight and eat the next morning - yum! You may sprinkle Ashwagandha powder or maca root powder to give it an extra hormonal balancing boost.


Snack: A handful (½ cup) of mixed nuts – almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts & Brazil nuts.

Lunch:


A refreshing salad with lemon/pumpkin seed oil to dress:

· ¼ cup of raw purple cabbage

· ¼ cup of raw spinach

· ¼ cup of raw broccoli

· ¼ cup of avocado

· ¼ cup cooked quinoa

· 1 cup of water with a squeeze of lemon & mint


Snack: Green smoothie booster

· 2 cups of raw kale

· ½ a green apple

· ½ peeled lemon

· ½ cucumber

· 1 cup of coconut water (Nutri Infusion, 2015)



Dinner:


Atlantic grilled salmon & roasted vegetables

· 1 piece of wild-caught Atlantic salmon, grilled

· 1 slice of lemon to drizzle

· ½ bunch of asparagus

· ¼ cup red capsicum

· 1 cup of green leafy vegetables

· ¼ cup of beans


· Indulge in organic chamomile tea before bed to help relaxation and digestion
